Once Irish TV got wind of Rod Coyne’s latest Dublin exhibition they were all over it. So when the crew met up with him at the gallery they we’re keen to get the whole back-story on Rod’s work to-date. “I found the interview fascinating from my own point of view, and I realised I was articulating stuff that otherwise only goes on in my head. Describing my method meant nailing down all those intuitional moments which occur through my regular painting out-of-body experiences” – Rod Coyne.
You can see this interview in full this Thursday 8th October 2015 at 7pm on Irish TV. The program is “Dublin, Co. Matters” and the station is available at #191 on your SKY box or #400 on the free-to-air receiver. It will also be available on line about two weeks later www.irishtv.ie .
