Provenance

“Preaching Puffin” is one of a series of paintings born out of Rod Coyne’s passion Skelligs and the Atlantic seaboard. The original artwork is acrylic on canvas and measures 20 x 25 cm (8″ x 10″ inches).

This depiction celebrates these iconic seabirds who despite their cute and slightly comical appearance are masters of survival. This feisty bird is voicing his opinions on a clifftop high above the ocean. Rod Coyne’s puffin painting is the perfect addition to any home or office for art collectors and nature fans alike.

This painting is signed on the front, and inscribed and dated on the reverse by the artist. This painting first went on public display in December 2019 in the Doorway Gallery, Dublin, Ireland.
