“There’s a place where the waves crash, the tide heaves and the weather rolls in off the Atlantic Ocean. It’s called Ballinskelligs Bay in Co. Kerry. That’s where you’ll find me, painting distant views from the water’s edge. Today’s ocean is alive with the Atlantic swell. The locals refer to this stretch of water as the Lady’s Ruff and today it’s name is doubly apt. As I paint I am doused in salty spray, immersing me in the jaws of mother nature.” – Rod Coyne.
