“I set myself the task of only allowing every brushstroke to travel diagonally across the paper, and I had really no idea what the results would be like. I was delighted with the final image because it seems to enjoy a ridged yet loose style. And it has a groovy 1970’s feel which I would never have contrived to create in the first place” – Rod Coyne.
