Rod Coyne painted the original at Kilmacurragh Arboretum for the “Kilmacurragh through the Artists’ Eyes” exhibition. Dublin’s Botanical Gardens hosted the show in 2014. Rod’s palette knife technique vividly describes the riotous colour of the springtime rhododendrons.
