“I set myself the task of depicting something universally recognizable to the Irish agricultural community. The “Fordson Major” was just that, close to the hearts of generations of farmers. I completed it as part of a live painting demo at the international ploughing championships in Stradbally, Co. Laois, back in 2014.” – Rod Coyne.
